Um livro precioso / Love the book and couldn't recommend it more highly

The book is extraodinary as much as it is to the point, clear, full of insight, based on extensive research of high scientific weight yet incredibly poetic (perhaps it couldn't be any other way with what is studied here), compact and powerful.

É tão bom nem se poder duvidar se por motivos de amizade nos atinge um trabalho, seja, pois não é preciso tais coisas a respeito do livro que aqui trago.
Uma maravilha que "fala" por si, e de que maneira. 

Ia citar uma passagem, mas para além de não conseguir escolher.. (há coisas que são assim, de início ao fim, especiais e com uma força que só visto...., aaaaaaaaaah, como o autor vai me zingar por empregar a palavra "visto".. ahahaahaha, mas é que a língua é assim mesmo, que fazer?? ..este livro até nisto faz um impacto que.., que só "visto")

The model that serves as a backdrop for the book, upon where it rested so as to be photographed had to be in the picture. It had to be this way. I want to show my appreciation of the work by placing it on a being I love so very much. No underlying motive in relation to the book, just due to the appreciation the existence of certain things and beings.

Fresh Water - What's going on??? (Sobre os recursos de água potável e os ecossistemas associados)

Basic Human Rights - clean fresh water *ELA*among other scientific research projects (fundamental to Man's well-being) and the shutting down of research, plus censorship of "nonpartisan" groups that produce scientific evidence free of any socio-political/corporative "angle"??   For the first time in the nation's history (in Canada's case).. Will someone please tell me what's going on??? 





(Quem, e porque será, que pela primeira vez na história de alguns países se quer manipular a voz dos que trabalham não para partido ou empresa alguma, mas pelo bem do próximo, do Outro, como acto de dever civico???)






Since this is an Art Blog I'll include a painting in this post. Its subject matter can be many things (some more "visible" than others) and is more than any mechanical movement, waves.., or velocity of said movement/movements in one sense or another (be they: singular or personal, of an ensemble of things or people, or of any of the "physical senses"). It is the portrait of a dear friend.

Como este blogue é dedicado às artes vou incluir neste artigo um quadro, que tanto quanto saiba está exposto num local onde ensaia uma "orquestra" regida por um amigo do seu actual dono.  É um retrato dum querido amigo que dispensa na nossa língua, espero eu, descrições e/ou apresentações.  Tem esta obra, tal como o seu actual  dono, assim como o retratado, o nome de "Jorge".  ( Esteve para se chamar, na sua génese - o branco Neptuno - devido à natureza da série de trabalhos executados na altura)  Não disponho de melhor fotografia dele portanto fica o registo que tenho.
